4-Day Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanxun Water Town Culture Tour

Four days that blended big-city Shanghai with the calm of Hangzhou's West Lake and the canals of Nanxun water town. The custom itinerary meant we swapped a museum for a silk workshop, which was perfect. Tea by the lake and a quiet boat ride in Nanxun were the soul of the trip.

Nanxun was the surprise star - far quieter than the famous water towns, and stunning. Add Hangzhou's gardens and West Lake, plus the Shanghai skyline, and you get a beautifully varied four days. Our guide adapted the plan daily. The silk and tea experiences were lovely.

A relaxed cultural tour. Loved walking the classical gardens and sipping Longjing tea in Hangzhou, then drifting through Nanxun's old canals. Four days felt well balanced between the three places. The private custom format let us start later each morning, which suited us.
