Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about the glass walkway. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.
The unglamorous part: pickup, tickets and the order of stops were handled without fuss. That sounds ordinary, but it is exactly what you want on a full sightseeing day. I would rather keep the pause at the glass walkway than add another stop.
One thing I learned: traffic added time to the day, so comfortable shoes and a little patience helped. The visit itself did not feel shortened. With 8 hours to work with, the balance felt sensible.
The best compliment I can give is that I never checked how many stops were left. The glass walkway arrived at just the right point in the route.
Honestly, I would change my shoes, not the itinerary. For 8 hours around this part of China, the pace felt about right.
