Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about the Potala Palace. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.
The unglamorous part: the practical side was solid: an easy pickup, sensible timing between stops, and no long sales detour disguised as sightseeing. My only advice is not to shorten the time at the Potala Palace.
One thing I learned: lunch landed later than I expected, so a small snack was useful. I was happier not cutting the time at the Potala Palace.
We booked because arranging Lhasa ourselves looked fiddly. We came away remembering the conversations as much as the places. The time around the Potala Palace was not the part I would cut.
Honestly, no grand claims from me: this was organised well, felt personal and showed us Lhasa at a sensible pace.
