Honestly, I had seen plenty of photos of the Zhangjiajie peaks. Being there was quieter and more absorbing than I expected, and I stopped checking my phone for a while. My only advice is not to shorten the time at the glass walkway.
The meeting instructions were clear and we knew what came next without being herded around. In Zhangjiajie, that saved a surprising amount of energy. For this itinerary, the number of stops was enough.
A practical note: one stop was more crowded than the others. The quieter time around the Zhangjiajie peaks balanced it out.
