The first part of the route follows a gentle Kaolaoshan trail toward a tiered waterfall and an open meadow summit, with time to enjoy the landscape rather than pushing a strenuous hiking pace.
Continue to Minghe, a water town with roughly 1,200 years of history, for old lanes, waterside views and a slower cultural finish to the day. Private transport, hotel pickup, an English-speaking guide and lunch are included in the published tour setup.
