Continue to the legendary Tianya Haijiao, famed for its dramatic coastline and giant boulders inscribed with the Chinese characters "天涯" (Edge of Heaven) and "海角" (End of the Earth). For centuries, this romantic spot was seen as the remotest corner of the Chinese empire.

Your final ascent takes you to Luhuitou Park, perched on a hilltop overlooking Sanya city. Named after the touching legend of a young hunter whose quarry — a deer — transformed into a beautiful maiden. Watch as the late afternoon light paints the three bays below in golden hues.
