On this customizable 6-day tour, you will visit China's fairyland — the Jiuzhaigou valleys — a colorful wonderland with clear water, verdant virgin forest, and authentic Tibetan customs. We have specially designed two days in Jiuzhaigou's valleys so that you can explore further and deeper, and enjoy some leisurely and scenic walks.
It is the choice of keen hikers and photographers who would like to see more of Jiuzhaigou at a relaxed pace with excellent guiding.
The Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center and Jinli Ancient Town in Chengdu are included to enhance the tour experience with the essence of Chengdu.

Spend a Morning Hanging Out with the Adorable Pandas
If you love animals, don't miss out on the Panda Base. It is best to go early in the morning to see the pandas feeding at around 9:30am, their most active time of the day.
Be Like a Chengduer for Half a Day
Have a relaxing walk, admire the traditional-style buildings, and try various local snacks in Jinli Ancient Street. Taste a cup of tea in People's Park.

DAY 1 Chengdu Arrival
Your private driver and guide will be ready for you when you arrive in Chengdu. Enjoy a trouble-free transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is your own to explore Chengdu.
DAY 2 Chengdu | Pandas and Sichuan Food
Visit the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center, see giant pandas at rest or play among the bamboo groves.
Enjoy Lunch at a Chinese restaurant with Sichuan-style dishes.
Discover People's Park which is a spiritual haven for the city's citizens amidst the bustle of downtown life. Having a cup of tea in a local tea house . Stroll along and taste celebrated local snacks in Jinli Ancient Street.
DAY 3 Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou | Huanglong Scenic Area Tour
Upon arrival at Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport, you will be greeted by our local Jiuzhaigou tour guide and driver who will then transfer you to Huanglong Scenic Area.
To save your energy and time, we will arrange a cable car for you going up to the top. Then walk down, following the watery wonders through the valley, to enjoy the fantastic scenery all around you.
After about 3–4 hours sightseeing in the valley, you will leave the park for a local lunch outside. At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you to your hotel in Jiuzhaigou.
DAY 4 Jiuzhaigou | Walking in Zechawa Valley and Shuzheng Valley
In order to avoid the crowding, you will take a sightseeing bus from Jiuzhaigou Gate directly to the top of Zechawa Valley to start sightseeing and walking. Walk on the plank road to visit Long Lake and Five-Color Lake.
A buffet lunch is arranged in Nuorilang Restaurant, the only restaurant in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area.
After lunch, visit the most iconic attraction of Jiuzhaigou — Nuorilang Waterfall. Then hike down through Shuzheng Valley to Reed Lake. As you walk along the way, you can enjoy the great natural scenery interspersed with traditional Tibetan villages.
DAY 5 Jiuzhaigou | Leisurely Walking in Rize Valley
You will have a day to enjoy the most beautiful valley of Jiuzhaigou — Rize Valley.
After breakfast, take a sightseeing bus to the top of Rize Valley to start the leisurely, highly-scenic walk. It is about 18 km (11 miles or about 5 hours with photo stops) down Rize Valley to Nuorilang Waterfall. Descend at your own pace, stopping for photos where you want. Your guide will know the best spots.
Enjoy a pinic lunch in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area.
In the afternoon, take a sightseeing bus to the park entrance and return to your hotel.
DAY 6 Jiuzhaigou Departure | Airport Transfer
After breakfast, take a 2-hour drive from Jiuzhaigou to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport. Your private guide will help you check-in for your next destination.
