For us, there are plenty of polished photos online; the useful surprise was having time at the Zhangjiajie peaks without being moved along every five minutes. For 11 hours around Zhangjiajie, the pace felt about right.
Practically speaking, communication beforehand was straightforward. On the day, the plan was explained once and then everything simply felt easy to follow. I would rather keep the pause at the Zhangjiajie peaks than add another stop.
Bring water and do not over-plan the evening afterward. 11 hours covered more ground than I expected. With 11 hours to work with, the balance felt sensible.
Honestly, this felt like travelling with someone who knew the area, not following a person holding a flag. That difference showed most at Tianmen Mountain.
Good pacing, clear pickup and enough time at the Zhangjiajie peaks. That is the whole review.
