About This Tour
Spend four days travelling between Lhasa and Namtso with arrival and departure transfers, three hotel nights and an English-speaking guide. The route includes time to acclimatise in Lhasa, a full journey to Namtso with Tashi Peninsula and Nagenla Pass, sunrise by the lake, and a return to Lhasa before departure.
Stay two nights at Lhasa Xuelong Manor or an equivalent hotel and one night at Damxung Chanfeng Manor or an equivalent hotel, based on two guests sharing a room. The package includes three breakfasts, one dinner, two Namtso admissions, transport throughout the itinerary, Tibet entry permit processing for foreign visitors, travel insurance, drinking water and oxygen supplies.
Day 1 covers arrival pickup and hotel transfer in Lhasa. Day 2 travels from Lhasa to Namtso, including Tashi Peninsula and Nagenla Pass, with an overnight stay in Damxung. Day 3 begins with sunrise at Namtso before returning to Lhasa. Day 4 includes transfer to the airport or railway station.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa and hotel transfer
Arrive in Lhasa at approximately 3,600 metres above sea level. Airport or railway station pickup and transfer to Lhasa Xuelong Manor or an equivalent hotel. No meals are included today.
Day 2: Lhasa to Namtso and Nagenla Pass
Travel from Lhasa to Namtso, visit Tashi Peninsula and cross Nagenla Pass. Stay overnight at Damxung Chanfeng Manor or an equivalent hotel. Breakfast and dinner are included.
Day 3: Namtso sunrise and return to Lhasa
Watch the sunrise at Namtso, then travel via Damxung back to Lhasa. Stay overnight at Lhasa Xuelong Manor or an equivalent hotel. Breakfast is included.
Day 4: Lhasa departure transfer
After breakfast, transfer from Lhasa to the airport or railway station for departure.
