Overview
2 hours with a museum-trained guide for the Bianzhong bells, Goujian Sword, Zeng Hou Yi tomb.
About This Tour
A focused, museum-only deep dive with a Hubei history specialist. The Hubei Provincial Museum holds two of China's most significant national treasures: the 65-bell bronze Bianzhong of Marquis Yi of Zeng (5th century BC, the largest pre-Qin musical instrument), and the Sword of Goujian (5th century BC, still razor-sharp despite 2,500 years underwater). Tour also covers the Yuan Yang lacquerware coffin, the Yue royal seals, and the Tang-dynasty gold artifacts gallery. The museum is free but reservations are required; we handle the booking. Format is 2-hour expert-led walkthrough, perfect for travelers who don't want to spend a full day on a museum but want more than a self-guided audio. Available daily except Mondays.
