About This Tour
Luoyang has been called the "City of Peonies" since the Sui-Tang dynasty (7th century AD) and the annual Luoyang Peony Cultural Festival runs April 1 - May 5 every year — booking only available in this window. Tour visits the three main peony viewing gardens: Luoyang National Peony Garden (1,200+ varieties), Wangcheng Park (the original royal peony garden), and Shenzhou Peony Garden. Includes a stop at the China National Peony Museum and a peony-themed lunch (peony tea, peony pastry). Different from any existing Luoyang tour. Best timing: April 10-25 for peak bloom. Private guide and vehicle, all entrance tickets, peony lunch.
