Honestly, I had seen plenty of photos of the Terracotta Warriors. Being there was quieter and more absorbing than I expected, and I stopped checking my phone for a while. For 3 days around Xi'an, the pace felt about right.
This worked for us because we didn't have to solve transport between Xi'an's city wall and the Terracotta Warriors. We could pay attention to the places, not the logistics.
A practical note: there was more walking than I guessed from the title. Nothing difficult, just enough that I was glad I wore trainers. With 3 days to work with, the balance felt sensible.
In hindsight, the best compliment I can give is that I never checked how many stops were left. The Terracotta Warriors arrived at just the right point in the route.
Honestly, I booked mainly for the Terracotta Warriors. I was glad I did because of Xi'an's city wall.
