I went in most excited about Flexible Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train. Funny enough, Shanghai and Suzhou is the part I kept talking about afterward.
What helped was simple: our guide read the pace well. We got the background when it helped, then space to explore instead of a running lecture. I would rather keep the pause at Flexible Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train than add another stop.
Looking back, I carried more than I needed. Water, a light layer and a small power bank would have covered the whole day. I would still leave extra time for Flexible Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train.
Looking back, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Shanghai and Suzhou feel like a place rather than a set of postcards.
