For us, the food came quickly, but the tour did not. We had time to ask where each dish came from and how people in Hong Kong usually order it. For this itinerary, the number of stops was enough.
Practically speaking, the useful part in Hong Kong was having someone explain how to order the same dishes later. I left with names in my phone, not just photos.
The useful part in Hong Kong was not just trying food, but knowing what to order again later. I saved two dish names in my phone before the tour ended. I would keep the Hong Kong outline as it was.
Honestly, I tend to switch off when tours become a stream of dates. Here, the stories around Hong Kong gave me enough to hold on to without overloading the day. With 2 hours to work with, the balance felt sensible.
