For us, what stayed with me wasn't the booking or the car. It was the time at Must-See Sights & Tsingtao Beer Museum, when we could slow down and actually look around.
Practically speaking, communication beforehand was straightforward. On the day, the plan was explained once and then everything simply felt easy to follow. For 8 hours around Qingdao, the pace felt about right.
I underestimated how much standing the day involved. A short sit-down between stops made the second half much easier. I would rather keep the pause at Must-See Sights & Tsingtao Beer Museum than add another stop.
Honestly, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Qingdao feel like a place rather than a set of postcards.
In short, I came with questions, left with more questions, and mean that as a compliment.
