My camera roll says Humble Administrator's Garden In-Depth Cultural Walking was the big moment. My actual favourite was Suzhou; it felt less obvious and more personal.
What helped was simple: our questions wandered well beyond the standard facts, and the guide stayed with them. That made the time at Suzhou much more interesting.
Looking back, the schedule is fairly full. I would have liked another twenty minutes at Humble Administrator's Garden In-Depth Cultural Walking, but I would not drop any of the main stops.
Looking back, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Suzhou feel like a place rather than a set of postcards.
