Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about the night cruise. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.

The unglamorous part: pickup, tickets and the order of stops were handled without fuss. That sounds ordinary, but it is exactly what you want on a full sightseeing day. I would rather keep the pause at the night cruise than add another stop.

I liked this more a day later, when I looked back through my photos and realised how different the river cruise and the night cruise had felt.
