Looking back, a small thing I appreciated: the guide let Three Kingdoms City, Huishan Town & TCM Day speak for itself sometimes. Not every quiet moment needed another speech.
The unglamorous part: the practical side was solid: an easy pickup, sensible timing between stops, and no long sales detour disguised as sightseeing. For 9 hours around Suzhou and Wuxi, the pace felt about right.
One thing I learned: traffic added time to the day, so comfortable shoes and a little patience helped. The visit itself did not feel shortened. The time around Three Kingdoms City, Huishan Town & TCM Day was not the part I would cut.
