3Day Private Tour to the World's Cultural Heritage Mount Wuyi

Three days at Mount Wuyi in Fujian were idyllic. Drifting down the Nine Bends River on a bamboo raft while the guide pointed out the cliff peaks was pure magic. The Tianyou Peak hike rewards you with the classic aerial view of the river. The tea villages were a lovely bonus.

As a tea lover the ancient tea villages were the draw, and they didn't disappoint, this is the home of Da Hong Pao rock tea. But the bamboo raft on the Nine Bends River and the Tianyou Peak climb made it a complete experience. A proper UNESCO highlight.

Mount Wuyi is underrated. Three days with a private guide let us hike Tianyou Peak at a relaxed pace, do the bamboo raft, and sample fresh rock tea in the villages. The misty mountains and clear river are postcard-perfect. Loved it.

Beautiful UNESCO scenery and the bamboo rafting on the Nine Bends River was the highlight of our whole Fujian trip. The Tianyou Peak steps are steep so wear good shoes. The tea village tasting was relaxed and informative. Three well-spent days.
