Classic 3-Day Jiuzhaigou Private Tour

Jiuzhaigou's lakes really are that color, the photos don't exaggerate. Over three days our private guide spaced out the valley so we saw the turquoise lakes, the waterfalls and the snow peaks without the day-tripper rush. Five Flower Lake in the afternoon light was unforgettable.

Three days was exactly right for Jiuzhaigou. Autumn colors reflected in those impossibly clear lakes, framed by snow-capped peaks, it's the most beautiful place I've seen in China. Our guide knew which boardwalks to hit early to beat the crowds.

Jiuzhaigou under snow is magical and far quieter than autumn. The frozen waterfalls and the blue lakes against white peaks were surreal. The private guide and car made the cold, high-altitude valley completely manageable. Highly recommend the winter trip.

Stunning lakes and waterfalls, a real natural wonder. It's a high-altitude valley with a lot of walking on boardwalks, so come reasonably fit. Three days let us go slowly. The guide was friendly and patient, though summer brings more visitors.
