Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in downtown Changsha. Head to Duzheng Street, where you’ll wander through ancient alleys with dark-tiled roofs and blue-gray walls. Next, visit the Hunan Provincial Museum, one of the major archaeological discoveries in China and even the world in the 20th century. Spend around 2 hours and 20 minutes exploring its fascinating exhibits. Continue to the Huogongdian (Fire Palace) Fire God Temple, a Chinese national-level intangible cultural heritage site. Spend about 30 minutes here before heading to the century-old Huogongdian (Fire Palace) to taste Hunan-style specialty snacks. After lunch, visit the Aiwanting Pavilion in Yuelu Mountain, one of the four famous pavilions in China. Spend about 40 minutes here before heading to Yuelu Academy, known as the "academy with a thousand-year history." In the afternoon, visit Orange Isle and take a luxury cruise on the Xiangjiang River, with VIP green-pass access.
