Honestly, I had seen plenty of photos of the Terracotta Warriors. Being there was quieter and more absorbing than I expected, and I stopped checking my phone for a while. The time around the Terracotta Warriors was not the part I would cut.
We had enough information to understand Group Tour to the Terra, but it never turned into a classroom. The balance felt natural.
A practical note: the busiest place on the route was genuinely busy. Starting earlier would be my only change. I would rather keep the pause at the Terracotta Warriors than add another stop.
