Itinerario
Shanghái: excursión privada de un día al lago Taihu a la isla Manshan
Travel from Shanghai to Lake Tai, then take the ferry to Manshan Island. With cars absent from the island, the visit continues on foot along lakeside paths through an old fishing-village setting, allowing the pace to stay slow and focused on the water, homes and everyday island atmosphere.
The route includes the island lighthouse and time at a riverside book café before the return ferry. Hotel pickup, private transport on the mainland, an English-speaking guide and lunch are included in the published tour setup. Ferry schedules and lake weather determine the final order and amount of time available at each island stop.

Looking back, there was a fair amount in 1 hour, but it never felt like a checklist. The stop at Manshan Island Taihu Lake Day had room to breathe instead of becoming another quick photo.
The unglamorous part: pickup, tickets and the order of stops were handled without fuss. That sounds ordinary, but it is exactly what you want on a full sightseeing day. With 1 hour to work with, the balance felt sensible.
One thing I learned: lunch landed later than I expected, so a small snack was useful. I was happier not cutting the time at Manshan Island Taihu Lake Day.
The best compliment I can give is that I never checked how many stops were left. Manshan Island Taihu Lake Day arrived at just the right point in the route.
Honestly, I would change my shoes, not the itinerary. For this itinerary, the number of stops was enough.
