Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about Tianjin Old City and Ancient Culture Street Heritage Walking. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.
The unglamorous part: the practical side was solid: an easy pickup, sensible timing between stops, and no long sales detour disguised as sightseeing. I would keep the Tianjin outline as it was.
One thing I learned: the day ran a little longer once traffic was included. I was tired at the end, but not sorry we stayed for Tianjin Old City and Ancient Culture Street Heritage Walking.
