Looking back, the stop I expected to like least turned into the one we discussed afterward. That is the advantage of tasting with someone who can explain what is in front of you. With 3 hours to work with, the balance felt sensible.
The unglamorous part: dietary questions in Tasting Qingdao were handled before we started, not halfway through the first tasting. That made the session much easier to enjoy.
Before you go, come hungry in Tasting Qingdao and say clearly what you cannot eat. There was enough variety that skipping one item did not make the experience feel smaller.
I liked this more a day later, when I looked back through my photos and realised how different Tasting Qingdao and Local Market & Seafood Feast with Beer had felt.
