大同经典城市一日游：城墙、鼓楼、辽建筑
大同的老城区是中国最雄心勃勃的城墙重建项目之一——2008-2014年重建的6.5公里明式城墙（颇具争议，但视觉上引人注目）。在四个角落走墙，参观鼓楼（公元 1370 年，原始幸存者）、大同市民博物馆和孔子庙。包括在传统的大同刀削面（刀削面）餐厅停下来吃午餐——大同面条被列为中国十大面条风格之一。下午：善化寺（由唐建立，目前是一座正在运转的佛教寺庙）。与现有的出城前往云冈等的旅行不同，完全停留在重建后的城墙内。

For us, there are plenty of polished photos online; the useful surprise was having time at Xi'an's city wall without being moved along every five minutes.

Practically speaking, the route through Datong could be awkward to arrange independently. Having one person keep the timing straight made the whole thing calmer. The time around Xi'an's city wall was not the part I would cut.
