Travel from Shanghai into rural Zhejiang for a scenic day centered on Dagangshan. Walk along a hilltop ridge lined with white wind turbines, then move through green tea terraces where the landscape changes from open skyline views to close-up rows of cultivated tea.
The route also includes views over Heping Reservoir, whose jade-green water provides a quieter finish to the day.
