6-Day Guilin, Yangshuo and Longsheng Tour

Six days around Guilin gave us the full karst experience. The Li River cruise to Yangshuo past those iconic limestone peaks was the trip of a lifetime, like sailing through a watercolour. The Longsheng Dragon's Backbone rice terraces were stunning and the Zhuang and Yao villages up there were a real highlight. Yangshuo's countryside by bike was pure joy.

The combination of the Li River cruise, Yangshuo's West Street and the Longsheng rice terraces over six days was perfectly balanced. The terraces curving around the mountains at Longsheng were unbelievable, and the karst scenery on the river never got old. Private guide and driver made it effortless.

Loved the variety, dramatic karst mountains on the Li River, the green stepped terraces at Longsheng, and laid-back Yangshuo. We did a bamboo raft and a cooking class the guide arranged on the fly. Six relaxed days, ideal for soaking in the scenery.

Beautiful nature tour of the Guilin region. The Li River cruise and the Longsheng rice terraces were the standouts. Some uphill walking at the terraces, but worth it for the views. Yangshuo is touristy in the evenings but gorgeous by day. Great private guide.

Six days of pure scenery. Cruising the Li River between the karst hills felt unreal, and the Dragon's Backbone terraces at Longsheng were the most beautiful landscape I've ever photographed. Cycling around Yangshuo was a lovely slow day. Highly recommend.
