7-Day Xinjiang Highlights Tour

Seven days across Xinjiang was the trip of a lifetime. The Silk Road history, the Tianshan Mountains with that impossible blue Heavenly Lake, and the bazaars full of Uyghur culture and food. Our private guide handled the long distances and every checkpoint so we could just absorb it all.

The diversity in one week amazed me. Snowy Tianshan peaks one day, then bustling Silk Road markets the next. The Uyghur lamb and naan bread were unforgettable. A private guide is essential here, the region is vast and he knew the culture inside out.

Tianshan Mountains were breathtaking and the old Silk Road towns felt genuinely off the usual tourist path. Seven days gave us time to really meet people and not just snap photos. Driving was a lot but the scenery never got old.
