8-Day Lhasa to Mount Everest Base Camp Group Tour

The classic Lhasa-Shigatse-EBC overland route done right. Standing at Everest Base Camp with the north face glowing at sunset, after days of acclimatizing in Lhasa and crossing those high passes, was indescribable. The 4-star hotels along the way were a welcome comfort.

Eight days from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and every day delivered. The Potala and Jokhang in Lhasa, the giant Buddha at Shigatse, then the slow climb to EBC. Small group meant it felt intimate, and the guide managed the altitude beautifully.

The overland drive across the Tibetan plateau is half the experience, turquoise lakes, prayer flags on the passes, then Everest itself. Comfortable 4-star hotels each night made the high altitude far easier on the body. A bucket-list trip executed flawlessly.

An epic journey to EBC. The small group was friendly and the route is well paced for acclimatization. Nights near base camp are cold and basic compared to the lovely Lhasa and Shigatse hotels, but seeing Everest up close is worth every bit of it.
