Qingdao Highlights Two Day Private Guided Tour

Qingdao over two days was perfect. The Tsingtao Brewery tour was a fun history lesson (and the fresh unpasteurised beer at the end is a different drink entirely), and walking Badaguan with its old European villas felt nothing like the rest of China. Our guide timed Zhanqiao Pier for golden hour.

The seafood alone is worth the trip. Our private guide took us to a local spot by the coast where you pick the catch and they cook it, way better than any restaurant we'd have found ourselves. Laoshan Mountain the second day was a gorgeous coastal contrast.

Solid two days. Laoshan Mountain by the sea is stunning and the brewery is a must. The Badaguan area was a bit quiet in autumn but still lovely. Guide was punctual and the private car made hopping between the coast and the mountain very easy.

Did this as a couple and loved how flexible it was. We asked to spend less time at the brewery and more time eating, and the guide just rearranged everything. Zhanqiao Pier and the German-era streets of Badaguan were so photogenic.

Great mix of beer, history and nature. Laoshan was the highlight for me, hiking with the ocean below. Our guide grew up in Qingdao and the seafood recommendations were spot on. Two relaxed days, never felt rushed.
