Day 1: Arrival and Tea Plantation Tour Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from either Jinghong or Pu’er. Settle into our comfortable vehicle for a scenic 3-4 hour drive through Yunnan's lush landscapes, right to the border with Myanmar. Upon arriving at Jingmai Mountain, you'll see verdant tea plantations with ancient tea trees over a thousand years old. After a generous lunch and a brief orientation, we'll head to our charming accommodations. In the afternoon, visit a local tea plantation in the forest, meet farmers, learn traditional cultivation methods, and enjoy a tea-tasting session. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner featuring local specialties and relax under the stars or join a traditional Dai dance performance. Day 2: Exploring the Dai Villages Wake up early to enjoy the breathtaking sun rise above the cloudy mountains every morning. After breakfast, explore the enchanting Dai villages on Jingmai Mountain. These villages, home to the Dai people, feature traditional wooden houses, intricately designed temples, and vibrant gardens. Enjoy a leisurely lunch with local Dai cuisine, then visit a community center for interactive cultural activities like traditional cooking, learning the Dai language, or participating in a dance workshop. In the late afternoon, return to our accommodations to relax and enjoy mountain views. Dinner will include a traditional Dai feast with live music and dance performances. Day 3: A Fond Farewell to Jingmai Mountain On the final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before a morning hike through the tea terraces, offering stunning panoramic views. Visit a local market to browse fresh produce, handicrafts, and local delicacies, interacting with friendly locals. Enjoy a final lunch together, celebrating new friendships and shared experiences.
