One detail from the day: the title makes this sound like a lot of ground to cover. In practice, Round Transfer to Suzhou & Zhouzhuang from Shanghai and Shanghai and Suzhou felt like two distinct parts of the trip, not the same day repeated.
This worked for us because we didn't have to solve transport between Shanghai and Suzhou and Round Transfer to Suzhou & Zhouzhuang from Shanghai. We could pay attention to the places, not the logistics.
A practical note: one stop was more crowded than the others. The quieter time around Round Transfer to Suzhou & Zhouzhuang from Shanghai balanced it out.
