Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about Labrang Monastery & Sangke Grassland Day. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.
The unglamorous part: pickup, tickets and the order of stops were handled without fuss. That sounds ordinary, but it is exactly what you want on a full sightseeing day. For 10 hours around Lhasa, the pace felt about right.
One thing I learned: lunch landed later than I expected, so a small snack was useful. I was happier not cutting the time at Labrang Monastery & Sangke Grassland Day.
The route made more sense once we were on it. Time at Lhasa set the pace, while Labrang Monastery & Sangke Grassland Day gave us a reason to slow down.
In short, no grand claims from me: this was organised well, felt personal and showed us Lhasa at a sensible pace.
