Wudang Mountain is a hidden gem. Two days from Shiyan let us explore the ancient Taoist temples and the Golden Summit with its mountain mist. As a martial arts fan, walking the birthplace of Tai Chi was a thrill. Accommodation on the mountain was atmospheric.
The Taoist architecture clinging to the cliffs at Wudang is breathtaking, and far less crowded than the famous mountains. Our private guide explained the Taoist history beautifully. The overnight stay meant we could catch the sunrise from the summit. Two peaceful days.
A serene, spiritual two days. The ancient temples and the dramatic mountain scenery around Wudang are wonderful. There's a fair bit of climbing and cable car riding to reach the Golden Summit, so be ready. Glad accommodation was included on the mountain. Lovely guide.
Came for the Taoist culture and left enchanted. Wudang's temples, the misty peaks, and watching morning Tai Chi practitioners made for a unique trip. The private guide and included stay made the two days from Shiyan smooth and unhurried. Highly recommend.
